Here at Scratch we had a jam-packed weekend at Professional Beauty London; not only were we selling subscriptions on our stand, catching up with all the big names in the nail industry and getting to grips with new launches, we also attended the awards ceremony for the Nail Masters competition.

The competition was judged by Gemma Lambert, Hazel Dixon, Irina Zotova, Keiko Venner, Amanda Gould and Jacqueline O’Sullivan, with the awards presented by competition director, Denise Wright. The atmosphere was a-buzz with excitement with all the competitors clamouring to get a seat to see if they were in luck.

As the ceremony began an anticipatory silence fell and all eyes were on Denise. Read on to find out all the winners…

Ear piercing whoops of delight echoed around the arena as the names of winners were called out, with the biggest cheer of the day going to Maria Sirokai for each of her multiple wins.

The theme for the next competition was revealed as Runway, so all the nailistas have undoubtedly got their thinking caps on, ready to get started on their next designs – we can’t wait to see what they come up with.
